Description
SKAT was and remains well ahead of her time. Visually dramatic, the exterior by Espen Øino features harmoniously balanced geometric shapes and clean lines purposely reflecting the materials – steel, aluminum and glass – used for her construction. Her distinctive grey color highlights the angular hull design.
SKAT was built for comfort and performance. Designed by Marco Zanini to match the exterior and maximize the use of space, the interior is minimalist, with ultra-clean lines. Zanini worked with few materials and colors but achieved an elegant richness.
SKAT’s engineering and construction are as impressive as her styling. To ensure quiet operations, machinery is mounted on double-resilient mounts while floors and ceilings throughout are soft-mounted.
SKAT is heli capable and carries two 8.5m tenders.
