Description
One of the finest yachts on the charter market, elegant Laurel was built in 2006 by Delta Marine, with a refit in 2014. Designed by Donald Starkey, her timeless interior is complemented by a noble profile with distinct blue hull. Run by a passionate crew of 24, led by Captain Roy Hodges, Laurel delivers world-class service and a charter experience like no other.
Elevator access between all guest decks makes Laurel easy to move around and with large spaces throughout the yacht there are certainly plenty of spots to enjoy! The main saloon is a social space, perfect for entertaining, with a décor that features hardwood floors, an earthy-toned palette and stunning artwork. This versatile space, with inviting sofas and an entertainment system includes a television hidden behind artwork. A separate dining space for up to 16 guests ensures a formal private space for hosting special meals and enjoying a menu crafted by Laurel’s talented chef. A starlight ceiling sits above the table, creating a special atmosphere.
Laurel welcomes up to 12 guests on board, with flexible accommodations set up to suit all groups. Families will particularly love Laurel thanks to her child-friendly setup. Guest cabins include the on-deck master suite, four identical King cabins, a queen plus single and Pullman, and an optional seventh cabin equipped with murphy beds an/or massage table.
The impressive master suite is a grand space, with private entranceway that can be enclosed as needed. A service alcove, lounge and study lead into the King cabin with his and hers ensuite. The piece de resistance is the private verandas to port and starboard that provide breathtaking views across the sea and are the perfect spots for enjoying some solitude. The six additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck, accessed by a stunning spiral staircase that has an underwater scene glasswork backdrop.
The bridge deck is home to the sky lounge, which is a second key interior space with a more relaxed vibe. The skylounge connects directly with an al fresco dining set up for 16, with a service bar nearby. Relax and enjoy aperitifs or a cool beverage as you gather for dinner.
Up another level is the expansive sundeck, with the beautiful observation lounge. This more private space pairs incredible views and is the ultimate location for a smaller gathering, whether a romantic meal for two or afternoon tea. Forward of the observation lounge is the outdoor ‘café’ with granite bar. Wellness fans will appreciate the state of the art gym located aft of the observation lounge, before wandering further aft to the oversized Jacuzzi, sun pads and chaise loungers. Even more space is found on the air-conditioned main aft deck, which has plenty of seating options.
Of course, no charter is complete without time in the water and Laurel’s beach club is hard to resist. With the garage door open this space is the perfect base for on-water activities, including Laurel’s almost endless line up of toys and tenders. These include all kinds of towables, an inflatable slide, inflatable trampoline, kayaks, diving gear, a 25′ Nautica Widebody tender with 315 hp Yanmar inboard, 22′ Nautica Widebody tender with 250 hp Yamaha outboard and more!
This elegant yacht is the epitome of elegance and grace and will deliver a charter to remember.
