The 67.5m/221.5′ yacht MY ICON marked an important evolution in the story of yacht building. By basing construction around a “pre-engineered superyacht platform”, Icon Shipyard was able to reduce the build time by almost 1/3. ICON was delivered in 2010 after a 2-year build period. Jouke Van Der Baan and Kyp supported the shipyard’s in-house team of naval architects. The exterior styling was by RWD and Studio Linse designed the contemporary interior featuring a stunning spa and beach club on the lower deck and a 5m glass infinity pool on the main deck.

ICON can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms. The master suite is spread across two levels with the sleeping area on the main deck and a private lounge and study on the upper deck. ICON houses 17 crew members.

ICON is powered by twin MTU engines with a maximum speed of 16 knots. At 13 knots she has a maximum range of 6000.0 nm. Designed for extensive world cruising and flagged and by Caymen and LY2, MY ICON has been one of the most successful charter yachts on the global market.
