DRUMBEAT is a 53m (173′ 11″) Ed Dubois design Classic Style Flybridge Ketch Aluminium Sail Yacht launched in 2002 by NZ shipyard ALLOY and refitted in 2014. DRUMBEAT is available for charter to explore the Maldives many tropical islands, low lying reefs, stunning sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, from €175,000 per week with accommodation for up to 11 guests (and 10 crew).

DRUMBEAT is an extremely fast and comfortable cruising yacht designed by Dubois Naval Architects. She has long-range abilities under sail or power. She provides exhilarating sailing at speeds up to 23 knots and regularly at 16/17 knots. There is a large fly bridge area, which acts as the principal helm position and provides lots of room for active participation when sailing.  At main deck level there is a large and well-protected cockpit with a permanent awning for shade, this is an ideal place for relaxing drinks, sundowners or for informal dining. The main saloon leads straight on from the cockpit, all at deck level and entirely surrounded by glass windows, giving 360º visibility.

Below deck is a large master suite aft with an adjacent sitting area and four large guest cabins. One of these guest cabins has been fitted out as a gym but can be used as accommodation if required. The crew accommodation is exceptional. It comprises six double cabins although the vessel runs with nine crew. There is a good galley and excellent crew mess area with a ship’s office and a dedicated laundry.
