As striking today as when she was launched, CARINTHIA VII is recognized as one of the most iconic yachts ever created by the now-legendary Tim Heywood/Lürssen partnership.  Her graceful sweeping lines and powerful profile are a masterpiece of elegant understatement.

Superbly built with naval architecture also by Lürssen, her interior layout was developed by Tim Heywood while her interior design is by Ellerhorst and Kreuter. Since delivery, Lürssen Yacht Management has been in charge of maintenance and operations.

Built in steel, the six-deck CARINTHIA VII is an impressive 3,643 gross tons.  What makes her design so successful is the pure and elegant sheer line that draws the eye from the bow to the stern. The design is accentuated by her deep blue hull color, which the makers called ‘Carinthia Blue’ in her honor. Viewed from a distance, the main deck appears to have no windows because they are concealed by darkened glass with black frames which are only visible up close.

Equally remarkable is her performance package: powered by four 10,060hp MTU diesel engines she cruises at 20 knots and has a top speed of 25 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 18 knots. CARINTHIA VII is also equipped with a ‘touch-and-go’ helipad on the bow and has garages for two 8.80m tenders plus water toys.

CARINTHIA VII was designed as a family yacht and has only been used privately by her original owner. Thanks to her 18.8m beam, CARINTHIA VII has exceptional deck space. Glass bulwarks not only protect from the wind but enable magnificent views over the water.

Her beautifully designed interior has an extremely functional layout to ensure discreet seamless service. The well-proportioned, versatile interior features tall bullet-proof glass windows, 2.25m headroom, and separate guest and crew elevators serving four and five decks respectively. On the lower deck, there is a full spa and wellness area opening onto the water featuring a hammam, a sauna, a plunge pool, and a steam shower.

CARINTHIA VII can accommodate up to 14 guests in eight luxurious staterooms.  She has a separate owner’s deck with a private study/drawing room, VIP stateroom, and a beauty parlor as well as six staterooms on the main deck. She can carry up to 40 crew with accommodation split across two decks.

Combining speed, capability, and elegance, CARINTHIA VII is classified by Germanischer Lloyd’s AG (now DNV), Maltese flagged and VAT paid. She is offered in impeccable condition with her 20-year surveys completed.
